Thulhagiri Island resort - My Living Heaven

I always used to wonder what heaven seems like before I visited Thulhagiri Island resort in Maldives!

Nestled with glittering waters and flourishing greenery, this island resort is definitely a lavish treat for every traveller planning luxury holidays to Maldives. Due to its close proximity to the airport, the resort is highly popular and receives thousands of luxury seekers on holidays to Maldives.

The moment I stepped into the Thulhagiri Island resort, I was enthralled by a delightful aura that unstrained all my stress and concerns. I got an extremely pleasing reception by the resort staff who guided me about all the features and facilities offered there.

Thulhagiri Island resort features over 69 bungalows classified into Beach Bungalows and water Bungalows. All the rooms of the resort offer incredible sea views and have been beautifully adorned with classy customary bamboo furniture which was really unique and admirable.

One thing that I loved during my stay at the Thulhagiri Island resort is the food served. Being a food lover, I always stay in search for good food that can please my senses to the deepest and I found the one at Thulhagiri Island resort. The buffet system at the resort is just excellent and has been organised keeping in mind the taste and needs of all kinds of travellers booking luxury Maldives deals.

One more thing that added a pinch, or should I say a bundle of joy to my luxury Maldives holidays was the live band performances organised by the resort at twilight.

I loved my stay at Thulhagiri Island resort and look forward to pay a visit again.

Government Orders Luxury Spas in Maldives to Reopen

In a latest development that took place on Wednesday, the president of the Maldives directed the country's spa resorts to reopen the spas which just a few days back were threatened for a closure following Islamic protests.

Mohammed Nasheed has reportedly asked the Supreme Court to figure is operating the luxury treatment centres in the country’s myriad resorts was legal or not. The president as well as the operators of these spas are keeping their fingers crossed that the Supreme Court allows them to continue with the operating of these spas.

Earlier, Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI), the prominent representative of hotels in the island country, had challenged the government’s order of closing spa parlours and health centres following a protest.

MATI had declared that the ban on spas threatened the lucrative tourism sector of the island and will deter travellers to plan holidaysto Maldives. The organisation filed two cases in civil courts for revoking the ban and also appealed the government for a proper resolution to sort out the issue.

Paradise Island Resort & Spa

Maldives Holidays are one of the popular fads among celebrities. The archipelago is descended upon by several glitteratis like Naomi Campbell, James Caan and Bruno Tonioli. In addition to this, myriads of affluent honeymooners plan luxury holidays to Maldives to immerse into its charm.

Massage parlours and Spas form an integral part of any luxury holidays in Maldives and any such ban would cripple the archipelago’s £1billion tourism sector severely declining the rate of visitors and leading to hefty losses.
