Four luxury Hotels in South Africa for a Comfortable Stay

South Africa Hotels
South Africa is undoubtedly an extremely popular tourist destination amongst Britons. Unsurprisingly, there are scores of cheap hotels in South Africa that target budget travellers, be it Cape Town, Johannesburg, East London, Port Elizabeth or Durban. Despite being reasonably cheap, these accommodation options offer a plethora of facilities for the visitors. Read on to find the popular four

While planning holidays to South Africa, travellers sometimes get stumped about accommodation. However, both cheap and luxury hotels are available in abundance in the country. My First hand experience with the four reasonably cheap hotels in South African cities can offer those planning their trips, a quick insight.

The Backpackers Ritz – Jo’Burg

Doing full justice to its name, ‘The Backpackers Ritz’ is one of the pretty popular cheap hotels in South Africa. Located in Johannesburg, the hotel offers varied accommodation facilities such as standard double rooms, standard twin rooms, standard single rooms, mixed dormitories, and girls’ dormitories. ‘The Backpackers Ritz’ also has its own pool and garden. Functioning out of a remodelled humongous old mansion, the hotel also has a grand visual appeal.

Olaf’s Guest House – Cape Town

While booking your South Africa hotel packages, the Olaf’s Guest House in Cape Town is another fabulous cheap accommodation facility to consider. Homeliness seamlessly blends with professionalism here. The fact that the hotel draws plenty of repeat guests speaks volumes about its popularity. A small plunge pool, reclining lounge chairs, and a beautifully maintained garden create a very relaxing ambience. The interiors are no less inviting. This place has a cosy sitting room complete with books and complimentary ports and Sherries. Leopard printed sofas and yellow painted walls make for a warm décor.

1 Cora Terrace - PE

If you don’t want to miss the chance of staying in national monument during your South Africa holidays, book a room at 1 Cora Terrace in Port Elizabeth. No, I am not talking through my hat. The 1 Cora Terrace is a Georgian home, which was built to shelter soldiers guarding the port of Port Elizabeth. A number of top attractions are located nearby. These include Old Fort, the Donkin Memorial, St. Georges botanical gardens, and Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

SugarshackBackpackers - East London

This largely undiscovered property in East London was a pleasant surprise when I took up abode here. Although, like many other travellers, East London was not part of my South Africa holiday itinerary, but I would say that a detour to the destination was one of the best parts of my vacation. This was especially because of my stay at the SugarshackBackpackers. There is a choice of wooden garden cottages and dormitories here. The exhilarating experience of spying upon whales and dolphins from the kitchen and the hotel’s whale watching platform was just indescribable. Facilities for jungle horse riding, waterskiing, and sand boarding are available as well
