Sydney is the gateway to the Blue Mountains - a series of cliffs surrounding a plateau with gorges that reach as much as 760m in depth – that offers a picturesque beauty and can be taken in during a ride on the Monorail. Darling Harbour also plays host to several free annual events, festivals for jazz and street theatre.

For adventurous shopping experience explore Newtown, Glebe and Paddington to discover some eclectic boutiques and fun markets.

Sydney offers an enviable nightlife with its top-notch restaurants, buzzing cafes and chic pubs of a diverse range from upmarket trendy establishments to old traditional hotels. The influence of Southeast and Polynesia cuisines has added a variety and colour to Australian cuisine.
